IBCLC Lactation Consultant in the Bay Area
English and Spanish lactation support for Bay Area families, with Silicon Valley home visits and secure virtual consultations.
Find the right visit for your location.
The Bay Area covers many communities, and a home visit needs to fit your location as well as your feeding concerns. Liz provides in-home care throughout Silicon Valley, including San Jose and Santa Clara. For families on the Peninsula or in the East Bay, contact Liz to confirm whether travel to your address is available. A virtual consultation offers another way to get personalized support when an in-person visit is not the right fit.

Meet your bilingual IBCLC.
Liz is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Certified Lactation Counselor. Her experience includes private practice, hospitals, clinics, support groups, and lactation programs. She is also a certified medical interpreter and translator. You can discuss your questions in English or Spanish, without having to translate your concerns for your consultation.
Meet Liz ChangHome visit or virtual consultation?
An in-home consultation gives Liz a chance to observe feeding and your everyday setup in person. It can be a useful choice when you want practical help with positioning, pumping equipment, or the details that are difficult to explain on a screen. You do not need to tidy your home or prepare a perfect feed. Bring the questions and equipment you are already using.
Secure virtual consultations are offered in 30-minute and 40-minute sessions. They can focus on prenatal preparation, feeding questions, pumping strategy, and changes in your routine. A video visit has different possibilities from hands-on care. If you are unsure which to choose, share your main concern before booking so the appointment matches what you need.

Think about the question you most want answered and what you hope will feel easier afterward. If you have feeding notes, information from your baby’s care team, or equipment you want to discuss, keep it nearby. You do not need a complete record to ask for support. Liz can help you sort through what has happened so far and identify practical next steps.
Insurance and payment arrangements are confirmed individually. Review the insurance information before booking, especially if you want to use your health plan. A listed insurer does not guarantee that every plan or appointment is covered. Travel charges for a home visit should also be confirmed for your location.
